As you know, because we deal insurances, there is typically portion that is your responsibility most commonly referred to as: “patient portion”. Just like any other service-related business, payment for the “patient portion” is due on the day of the surgery when you check-in.
Sometimes despite our best efforts, your efforts and everyone’s effort an insurance company may delay or even deny payment for services rendered – even when they have previously approved it! With the budget cuts and current state of the healthcare industry, we are seeing this more and more often. These day most insurance companies make every effort to delay or deny payment based on “technicalities”. We cannot be financially held resposible for your insurance company. Please remember that:

We promise to help you through this process. There are over 1400 insurance companies and some may take as long as 2 months to respond to us. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility.
